The Las Cruces Sun News reports the New Mexico State Police are investigating a 14-year-old Santa Fe girl’s death at a weekend party concert at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque.
This event was restricted to those aged 16 and over and security was supposed to check for identification.
At this point, it’s unknown how the girl dies. Autopsy results are pending.
The Expo had a duty to care for patrons at its event, including this young girl. If the girl died as a result of some negligence on the part of Expo, a personal injury lawyer could help hold Expo responsible for that negligence.
It’s unclear at this point what exactly happened, however concert organizers know that young people attend concerts and that steps must be taken to ensure their safety. When that does not happen, the consequences can be dire.
